Best Online Casinos for Canadian Players in 2026
Canada splits in two: Ontario runs a fully regulated market through AGCO and iGaming Ontario, while the rest of the country is served by offshore brands. The licensed section below shows operators registered in Ontario; the second section lists offshore casinos that accept Canadian players.

Licensed in Canada
Operators holding a local licence from AGCO / iGaming Ontario (Ontario only).
These operators accept sign-ups from Canada under offshore licences. They are not supervised by AGCO / iGaming Ontario (Ontario only), and local player protections do not apply.

How gambling regulation works in Canada
Since 2022, Ontario requires operators to register with AGCO and iGaming Ontario — several offshore brands (e.g. Stake, BC.Game) explicitly exclude Ontario while accepting the rest of Canada. Other provinces rely on provincial lottery platforms, with offshore play in a legal grey zone for operators (not players). PokerStars Casino left the Ontario market in May 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Which online casinos are legal in Ontario?
Operators registered with AGCO/iGaming Ontario — on this page that includes bet365, Betway, 888casino, LeoVegas, PlayOJO, Casino Days, Mr Vegas, Videoslots, bwin, partycasino and ComeOn. Offshore casinos in the second section are not part of Ontario's regulated market, and several block Ontario outright.
Can I play at offshore casinos from other provinces?
Outside Ontario there is no provincial licensing for private operators, and playing at offshore sites is not illegal for players. You do give up local regulatory protection, which is why we separate those listings.
Do crypto casinos accept Canadians?
Most do — Stake, BC.Game, Bitstarz and others accept Canadian players, though Stake and BC.Game specifically exclude Ontario per their own terms.
How is availability verified?
Against each operator's own terms and the official iGaming Ontario operator directory, last checked 4 August 2026.
